Overwrite existing content

Indicates that if a wiki or component already exists with the name for the section, it will be replaced. Unselect this if the Wiki may have changes or modifications that are not in the content you are importing.

Delete old content

Deletes any wiki pages or components that do not exist in your new import. This will lead to the loss of data if new components or wikis were added to your project; it is only intended if you do all of your work externally and solely enter content in OSF via import.

You can customise how Page Breaks, Section Breaks and headings in your document are processed by the importer. You can use the dropdowns below to specify if these should become Component Breaks or Wiki Breaks.

A Component Break will create a new subcomponent in OSF and write the remaining wiki pages there. This is common for major sections in a project. This is common for major sections in a project.

A Wiki Break will create a new wiki page in the same OSF project/component. This is common for minor areas within a project.
